ST. LOUIS, Mo. —
The Altus Police Department and the St. Louis Police Department's U.S. Marshals Service Task Force are asking for the public's help in finding a man and a woman who are being sought for child neglect after three of their children were found in critical condition, one was found dead and a fifth is missing.
On June 10, a failure to appear warrant was issued for 27-year-old Hakin Mustafa Moore and 29-year-old Robin Alexander in Jackson County, Oklahoma, in connection with three counts of child abuse, one count of child neglect and one count of enabling child neglect, according to St. Louis police officials. The Altus Police Department received information that Moore and Alexander had fled to St. Louis in an attempt to evade capture. Oklahoma man, woman on run after 3 children found in critical condition, 1 dead, 1 missing
The couple has five children in common. Three children are in the custody of the state after they were found in Oklahoma in critical condition. The fourth child was found deceased and a fifth child, who police say was born in a hotel room and has no documentation, has not been located.
Police in both Oklahoma and Missouri are asking for the public's help locating Moore and Alexander so they can be brought to justice and to determine if the couple's fifth child is healthy and alive. Oklahoma couple on the run after 3 children found critical, 1 deceased

US Marshals: Oklahoma couple on the run after authorities find 3 children in critical condition, 1 missing, 1 dead
Sorry, I know it is preferred that the child/victim's name be used in title and not the perps but none of the childen's names have been released. It doesn't sound like they even KNOW the name of the missing child, just that one was born and is now unaccounted for
No pictures, nothing to go on.
THREE children in critical condition and one dead. Doesn't seem too hopeful they will locate the fifth alive.
My question is, why weren't they in custody in OK?? Why give them a court date you know darn well they aren't going to appear for? OF COURSE THEY RAN. The fifth (presumably youngest child) was born in a hotel room and received no medical care or evaluation so clearly these people are transient. But give them a court date to show up for down the road? WTH was Jackson County thinking here??
ETA I would have placed this thread in MISSING PERSONS but with zero info on the missing child including sex, age, name, photo - there would have been nothing to put in the title. Which makes this situation all the more sad to me. We have a missing baby that has zero identifiers.
