According to the military file, Stephen was Baptist. He signed his social security card as Steve. Had burns on one arm. I'm guessing from when his sister got burned. He had rheumatic fever as a child.

I recently listened to a video by Dark Curiosities on a man named Leslie Arnold. He murdered his parents as a teen, escaped prison, and somehow fled to New Zealand where he built a family and lived the rest of his life as a free man. It got me thinking…have you considered that something like this happened with your dad? Not the murdering parents part of course, just the “somehow fleeing the country and living undetected” part.

I've thought about multiple scenarios. It's little hard to figure out where he would have gone

He could have gotten with a women from Mexico, Central or South America and gone back to her home country.

Just no way to track that.

I think of you often enough @Snoangel26 . Your father's image always stays very clear in my head!
As little as we have, at least you have this little thread of care.
And questions!
It is so much better to be able to share questions with others--rather than just your own brain...
even if unanswerable. Yet.
