I believe it was Cora herself who discussed, and justified, the killings with her daughter and then ordered her daughter to clean up the truck or trailer they used to transport the bodies. She may or may not have been afraid of her husband, but she was clearly an active participant in the planning and the actual crimes.

And she was the one who dragged her minor child into being a part of their crimes -- either to try to insure she wold remain quiet or because she thought so little of what they had done that in her mind it was no different than having her do other household chores. You have to wonder if she even realized the sheer hypocrisy of the fact that she cared so little for the well-being of her own child all while claiming the murder of two mothers was necessary to protect VBs children.

Four subpoenas were issued/returned for witnesses to appear at the preliminary hearing for TA, TC & Cole scheduled on12/17. Three are for employees from Tractor Supply, Walmart & Big R Standard Supply which I guess will simply be to confirm what they shopped for/purchased, their demeanor and at least in TAs case whether she had the children with her, etc.

The 4th one was for Jamie Beasley, the owner of the property where VB & JK were found. That's one witness I'd like to hear more from since he dealt with TC directly in the days leading up to & after the murders.

Tad's attorney filed a Notice of Conflict four days ago for tomorrow's prelim hearing. He has another one in a Kay County case tomorrow that was scheduled back in July. According to the document, on November 19 he filed a motion to continue in that case, but it was denied.

A judge will hear testimony to determine if prosecutors have sufficient evidence for the double murder case to move forward to trial.

Sometime between September and October 2023, Tifany Adams issued a warning about what would happen if anyone tried to take her young grandchildren, a murder investigation found.

"Bodies would fall," she reportedly said.

Adams issued the warning about bodies falling when James Taylor, then the Cimarron County sheriff, made a welfare check on the children, the OSBI reported in court affidavits.

According to family members in the courtroom, Adams showed up, admitted guilt and has waived her right to a preliminary hearing and speedy trial. She is due back in court April 16.

IMO, worded poorly enough to be confusing. Life sentence with 30 years of it waived? Life plus 30, entire sentence suspended?

I have no sympathy for her, period. She sat by, played her scripted role for the ambush, then asked her own daughter to get rid of evidence by washing down the truck. Murderers one and all is where I'm sitting. JMO.

And since TA has admitted guilt again, what does the State need Cora Twombly for anyway?

They need Cora's testimony for the other three. Eager to see what kind of deal TA may have gotten.
Safe to say that none of them are getting out of this alive, whether it's via the death penalty or old age in prison.
