Oklahoma man charged in drowning deaths of ducks

Alexander Joseph Clay, 22, of Norman, was charged in Cleveland County District Court with one felony count of animal cruelty. Police say he drowned two ducks in muriatic acid.

Clay apparently was mad at his mother when he killed the ducks, which were from a neighborhood man-made lake near his home. He told his mother that it would have been her instead of the ducks if she had been home Sunday night when the ducks were killed, according to the affidavit.
