They will not stop searching for TD, dead or alive. He is facing 3 counts of homicide and kidnapping charges of a child under 12 years of age. (his own children no less)

The blood of his on the truck, he could have made a small cut and swiped it on there purposely. He could have stashed some form of transportation (ATV, snow mobile, anything) up in the area days/weeks before taking the girls there. He had a 3 day head start.
Food and supplies he could have had packed and taken with him as he left the abandoned truck leaving his other 'necessities' ID, wallet, keys, phone to be purposely found...he is a trained survivalist. He could have stocked up on cash, not having to use a credit card or leave a paper trail. He pulled a 'gone boy' IMO.
A major strategist with a plan to get out of dodge ASAP, change his appearance, and lay low in any number of sparsely populated areas. He's evaded capture from highly skilled searchers for over 3 weeks now. I just don't believe a man capable of horrifically murdering his own beautiful daughters who planned to kill himself as well wouldn't have done so right there at the same time.
I hope they find this monster TD ASAP. The thought that he could disappear into parts unknown evading capture and justice for his actions would the worst possible outcome for everyone.

And I'll add he could have a new ID with papers he obtained in advance from the dark web, unsavory contacts he had, etc.
This is also how I feel. If he really is alive, his will to evade capture is stronger than the love he had for his daughters.
I believe that he is dead, especially after listening to the Sheriff’s interview. As the sheriff pointed out, they cannot see what TDs drive is to evade capture, as all of his drivers have now gone. I think if we don’t see anything positively identifying TD this week, I think they will scale the searches back. Also of note, if TD is alive, they want to wear him out and they want to ensure that he is safely brought into custody. They want answers, though I am not sure they will get them.
