One of the highest accolades that can be attributed to an Australian that has fought hard and come out on top is that of a “real Aussie battler.” Today, I can think of nobody more deserving of that moniker than Olivia Newton-John.

Newton-John became a household name across the world for playing Sandy in the 1978 musical “Grease.” The movie captures the quintessential American high school experience, with Newton-John its most apple pie character. But for the British-born and Australia-raised actress-singer, Hollywood was her adopted home...

Olivia Newton-John was lovely, and very much loved. Here is what she tells about “Grease”

And before serious journals interviewed her about her famous grandfather, Nobel prize winner, Max Born, she used to joke that her whole family was full of smart mathematicians, and only she failed. ))

I am also thinking of the huge loss it is for Olivia’s family, her daughter and husband. And John Travolta, who lost his two beloved partners, Diana Hyland and Kelly Preston, to breast cancer, and now his close friend, Olivia Newton-John, has passed away from the same illness.

Walk for Olivia on Sunday, October 9 to honour her legacy.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Founding Champion, Dame Olivia Newton-John. Olivia loved people coming together to support those with cancer. That’s why the Walk for Wellness was always very special to her.

Support Olivia’s legacy by joining the Walk this year either in Melbourne or virtually from where ever you are in the world and bring love & light to those with cancer.

October is breast cancer awareness month.

Shout-out to our fellow survivors! Katie Couric just announced she’s joined our ranks.

Please, my friends, schedule your mammogram.
It can save your life.

Breast cancer is the second-most common cancer in women, and 1 in 8 will develop breast cancer at some point in her life (National Cancer Institute). In 2022, 30 percent of all new cancer diagnoses made in the United States will be breast cancer.
