Missing: Coty Alexander, 70 year old male, approximately 5’09” 147 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. Unknown clothing description.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Coty Alexander. Coty was reported missing from his camp on China Hat Road near mile post 3 on April 13, 2022. Coty left his camp, leaving behind his vehicle and dog. The last confirmed sighting of Coty was on April 8, 2022 on the south end of Bend.

Why would Coty leave his car, and especially his dog? Any health issues?

-Any health issues?
-Was he camping with any other people?
-Does he have a cell phone, if so is it missing also?
-Was Coty a guest campground, if so how what was the duration of his reserved stay? If on a trip, what was the purpose?
-Was he staying with a transient camping area?

Man missing from China Hat Road camp found deceased; authorities say death not suspicious - KTVZ

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – A 70-year-old man who disappeared from his camp on China Hat Road south of Bend, prompting a public request for information, has been found deceased, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday, adding that it was not considered a suspicious death.

The man's family has been notified of his passing, the sergeant said Sunday, confirming that the death is not considered suspicious, but declining to reveal further details.
