Exactly. I thought it was worth checking because sometimes they don't take the Namus page down until after the notification and so forth have taken place, and sometimes the family releases an obituary. Hopefully there'll be some kind of public announcement soon.

The UID has clearly been identified but I'm not sure as who. Is anybody on Ancestry who could look to see whether there's any kind of death record for James Allen Bilbro IV? I haven't been able to find an obituary or other death record for him, though I did run across a couple of things that hint he might be alive and living in either Bend OR or somewhere in Massachusetts.
