I'm not finding a single record on Ancestry for that name. I found a few for a Tana Laatsch who lived in NorCal, but nothing substantial.

I’ve been searching too, and wonder the same thing about a typo. It happens.

The article didn’t provide an age or any other specifics about her that would help us find more about her. Maybe because it was a suspected suicide.

I hope she’s at peace and that her family finds some solace now that she’s been identified.
