The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Eugene man whose roommate hasn’t been seen in more than two weeks.

Jacob Edris, 31, last was seen at the Walgreens drugstore on River Road. His roommate reported him missing two days later, on Nov. 16, when Edris failed to return home.

Edris is a white male, 5-foot-10-inches tall, and weighs about 185 lbs.

He has brown hair, hazel eyes. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a black baseball hat with brown trim.

According to the sheriff’s office, Edris also was carrying a black backpack and might have been riding a gray Granite Peak bike.

Edris is known to use bike paths rather than roads, the sheriff’s office said.

Edris generally checks in with family and friends, and it is unusual for him not to check in for this long, according to the sheriff’s office. Search efforts so far have not provided any indication of his whereabouts.
