Police search for missing Beaverton man

The Beaverton Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a 59-year-old man.

John Scribner was last seen at 10 p.m. Thursday at his home in the 5000 block of SW Lombard Avenue.

According to police, Scribner doesn't talk well due to past medical events and takes medication daily. He didn't take any of his personal belongings, including his medication.

If anyone sees Scribner or know where he is, please call the non-emergency line at 503.629.0111.

I just contacted a friend who lives near the Lutheran Christian School. He was completely unaware that someone in his neighborhood was missing. Posts going up on social media to spread the word, and walkers heading out into the neighborhood to search.
