An Oregon photojournalist who covers Portland’s frequently violent protest scene was taken to the hospital Saturday after being attacked by black-masked antifa activists.

Andy Ngo, an editor at the online platform Quillette, said he was struck on the head and face “multiple times” by antifa protesters, who also threw objects and a milkshake at him as he tried to walk away.

In a tweet on the afternoon of the attack, Ngo said, “Attacked by antifa. Bleeding. They stole my camera equipment. No police until after. waiting for ambulance. If you have evidence Of attack please help.”

Following the assault suffered by Ngo, the Portland Police Department said in a statement, “Police have received information that some of the milkshakes thrown today during the demonstration contained quick-drying cement. We are encouraging anyone hit with a substance today to report it to police.”

Attorney for journalist attacked by Antifa says she plans to 'sue everybody' the law permits

The attorney for Andy Ngo, a conservative journalist who was attacked by Antifa during a protest in Portland on Saturday, said she plans to hold the city government responsible for his beating.

"I'm going to sue everybody who the facts and the law support being sued," attorney Harmeet Dhillon told "Fox & Friends" hosts on Tuesday.

Dhillon, who also represents former Google employees suing the company for discrimination, said the mayor's words are "empty platitudes."

"This cannot go on in America, and I do intend to hold the city government and potentially the mayor liable to the fullest extent to the law," she said.
