Velda “LaRue” Cosler, 70, is described as 5-foot-5-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has red hair and blue eyes.

Cosler last was seen by her husband at 10 a.m. Monday at the couple’s Cottage Grove home. When he came home Monday evening, the garage door to the house was open; Cosler’s purse and umbrella were on the front porch. Her vehicle and cell phone also were at the home, however, Cosler was not at the home.

Velda “LaRue” Cosler, 70, was located Wednesday morning near Weyerhaeuser Road, Sheriff’s Sgt. Carrie Carver said. Cosler was evaluated by medics and is stable, Carver said, but appears to have been out in the cold weather for several hours.
