Two Pennsylvania teens have been charged after a 17-year-old was killed and a 20-year-old was left with permanent "catastrophic head injuries" while attempting dangerous social media challenges with their cars, authorities said.

Where is common sense? It just seems like SO many are lacking in that department. MOO

From your link:
  • In the first case, a 17-year-old boy allegedly used a rope to tie an upside-down folding table to the back of his car to pull a friend behind him on top of the table
  • In the second case, a 19-year-old allegedly drove while her 20-year-old friend stood on the trunk to "surf"

Both these “stunts” happened close to where I live. 😢

these idiotic stunts aren't new imo. my HS class did several "stunts" on the regular that were stupid, dangerous, etc. we just didn't go viral making videos of them.

This to say the stupid isn't new. Teens have always done dumb stuff, we just see it on video now when we simply prayed our parents didn't find out about what we were getting up to back in the day.

I first heard of car surfing when I was a teenager myself, ca. 1980, and that table stunt? Yeah, I could see kids doing that.
