According to court records, Kevin Havelow pleaded guilty last month to third-degree murder. He was ordered to serve 20 to 40 years in prison on that charge.

He was ordered to serve 10 to 20 years in prison on the rape charge.

The sentences were imposed as consecutive so overall he was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.
