Anthony Pallone, Jr. was shot while in his crib and his mother, Holly Pallone has been arrested.

According to the mom she was planning on selling the firearm, and it went off as she sat next to the crib?

She was going to sell the gun to a guy she "used" to buy drugs from. IMHO I believe it was more like she was going to get $200 worth of drugs for the gun.

According to the article the gun belonged to the person who was letting her stay at his house. So not only was she probably selling the weapon to purchase drugs, it sounds like she was stealing the gun from the owner to sell it to a drug dealer. That poor baby didn't have a chance.

She admitted she was unloading the gun and she didn't know what she was doing. First thing don't we all know to point gun down! She doesn't look to upset that her baby is dead by her own hands.

Holly Pallone, 27, was ordered to serve four to 10 years in state prison by Lehigh County Judge James T. Anthony for accidentally shooting her son to death just before midnight Oct. 6.

The sentence was in the aggravated range of state sentencing guidelines, a year above a standard-range sentence. Anthony said he issued the sentence because Pallone was about to sell the gun illegally to a drug dealer; had a duty to protect her child; was on probation at the time; and was under the influence of prescription drugs she illegally obtained...

Last month, Pallone pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, a felony.
