PERKASIE, Pa. - Police in Bucks County are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing woman.

Last known residence was in the 1500 block of Church Street, in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Previously lived in Perkasie and the adjacent Sellersville, recently famous for the Beth Capaldi case, as well as in Harleysville in Montgomery County.

Perkasie Borough Police have renewed their call for information in the August 2020 disappearance of Cassandra “Cassie” Stringer, as her family continues to await her safe arrival home.

On Thursday, the Perkasie Borough Police Department issued a public bulletin seeking any information on Stinger, now 41.

Police said Stinger resided in Perkasie in 2020 and then moved to the Harleysville area. In late 2020, she moved to the 1500 block of Church St, Philadelphia, and police said it was her last known address.

Many FB comments that appear from family and friends specify her last known location was in Kensington, which (IMO) suggests she may be/may have been struggling with substance use disorder (Kensington is home to a large population of people with heroin/opioid addictions, among other types of chemical dependencies and mental health issues). But I am heartened to see there’s renewed interest in locating this missing woman—hope the outcome is successful and she gets whatever help she may need to live happily and in good health.

<<According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), Stinger is Caucasian, with red and auburn hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing 175 pounds at her last appearance.

NamUs records show that Stinger last contacted her family via phone on Aug. 8, 2020, and left a voicemail. At the time, she was residing in Perkasie with her father, until they had to leave due to foreclosure, per NamUs. Stinger changed her driver’s license to a Philadelphia address in November 2020, per NamUs.>>
