What is it about that regional area of PA that so many people seem to go missing?

Lehigh River is the closest large water feature. South Mountain Preserve and attached preserves between East Main, 5th Street and Vera Cruz Road is the closest large woodlands.

If he went camping, I would be checking the Delaware Water Gap and the State Parks and Game lands along Rt 80. If the parks department has not been notified, they should be.
