On the surface, it doesn’t seem like a whole lot of effort was given to concealing the whereabouts of the victim. I’m more inclined to believe this was either random or or not premeditated. Just mho.

MOO It's a pretty big murder as it was abduction or luring or some kind, or possibly a consensual leaving of the house with someone (though apparently without her wallet) that went wrong.

Not "after leaving friend's house?"

What is meant by "last heard from"? In person? By text? Note it was "after returning home."

Yes, my understanding is they think she made it home only because her cell phone was there. That's different than "She was last heard from on the night of May 28th after returning home."
