UPDATE: (1/2) Police say they we’re checking out this home in connection to a missing persons case. As they were approaching the front door, they noticed a deceased man wrapped in plastic in front of the steps of this duplex. They found a woman inside the basement...@WTAE

UPDATE: (2/2): ... she was taken in for questioning. Police are not saying *who* the missing person is that this home is connected to. Body still on scene and not ID’d by the medical examiner yet. @WTAE

The estranged wife of a man whose body was found wrapped in plastic at a home in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood in December has been charged with stabbing him to death and hiding his corpse.

Janet L. Winbush, 50, faces charges of criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse in connection with the death of Deric Bryan Davis, 53, who was reported missing on Dec. 21 by family members who said they did not have contact with him for two weeks, according to court records.
