Dina Kotlar has not been seen or heard from since late Tuesday night. Police say she was driving a white, 2011 Dodge Nitro with a firefighter sticker on the back and the license plate number DDS-2309.

I just saw a post on her daughter's Facebook saying that she was found deceased. My prayers are with her family and friends. :-(

This is Dina Kotlar. She is missing. The family has not seen or heard from her since late last night 10/8/19. She is driving a white 2011 Dodge Nitro with a fire fighter sticker (picture below) on the back. Plate number DDS 2309. If seen notify the Kotlar or Pearce families or Rostraver PD. Let's help get her back to her family safely.
UPDATE: For those asking if she has been found the answer is no so please keep on the lookout and call police if you know anything. As posted by family members the car was located last evening in the Smithdale area. That is all we can tell you at present time. Thank you for getting the word out. 10/10/19
UPDATE: 10/10/19 14:00 From family posts sadly Dina has been found deceased. We will not share any further specifics. We ask you give the family time to grieve and we thank everyone for their help during the search. The fire department sends out our deepest condolences to the family."

DINA KOTLAR: Local woman found dead in wooded area two days after disappearance

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The woman who went missing from her home in Rostraver Township has been found dead, according to authorities.

Dina Kotlar, 48, was found dead in a "wooded area" near the Sutersville Trail in Westmoreland County around 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.

Kotlar had been missing nearly two days before her body was found in the woods.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the Allegheny County Police are investigating.

A Rostraver woman who was reported missing Tuesday was found dead Thursday morning.

The body of Dina Kotlar, 48, was found about 8 a.m. in a wooded area along a trail, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Kotlar’s death was a suicide, Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman said Friday morning.

Something about this feels off. So difficult when we hear of suicides and are unable to work through it to understand them better. My deepest condolences to her friends and family, who were numerous and appear to love her very much.
