Family continues search for missing Reading man with medical needs

Authorities and family members continue to search for a 59-year-old man a week after he went missing in Reading.

"I drive through here at night, every night now. We drive all over the city. We've been at homeless camps; any place you can imagine, we've been to," said Kimberly Scott, Dwane's wife.

From dawn to dusk, the Scott family searches for Dwane. His wife, five children and eight grandchildren are growing increasingly worried.

According to his wife, Scott suffers from various medical conditions stemming from a stroke three years ago.

"Hospitals, we call numerous times a day; homeless shelters," Kimberly said. "Every lead that we're getting, we're following up on."

So Dwane has all those conditions, very serious issues, and he leaves a family member's home, and they just...let him walk off? Maybe they didn't know about the extent of his conditions, but still - I say this in the nicest way possible - wouldn't it have been kind of obvious? Poor man, and his wife and loved ones. I hope he's found safe soon, but sadly, after reading the article about his issues and him being without his life-sustaining medication, I doubt he's still alive. I will be more than happy to be proven wrong, though!!
