BROADCAST: Missing Person

Her sister spoke to her around 8 that night. But she didn’t show up for work at Weis Markets on Sunday, and no one has heard from her since.

Shultz has been missing from her apartment at 400 Railroad Street for three days, and her family is worried, according to a report by PA Home Page.

This is even more concerning now. So Erica has autism spectrum, does not drive and relies on others for transportation. Where would she go? Can she take public transit on her own? Does she have friends/boyfriend?

Erica has autism and diabetes and has been without her medication for days.

When her family stopped by her apartment this past weekend, her cell phone was gone, but her winter coat, medicine, and beloved cat were still there - all things she would never leave home without.

Very worrying. Last spoke to on Friday evening. Didn’t show for work on Sunday. Who was scheduled to take her on Sunday? Are there access to her phone records etc? What contact did she have, if any, with people on Saturday? When could she have left? So many questions. I hope she can be found and be reunited with her beautiful cat who needs her mamma

After looking at maps, I found a Weis Market (725 Columbia Blvd) that is about a 25 minute walk from her residence (400 Railroad St), so it is possible that she would normally walk to work. However, I doubt that this comes into play since her winter coat was left in her residence, and only her cell phone was missing as far as I would tell. IMO

Corbin says her sister is 26, but mentally she’s much younger. She fears she could be easily manipulated.

“She thinks everybody is her friend. She’s got an innocent mind, she doesn’t think about danger. She thinks if anyone says hi to her they have her best interests at heart,” Corbin said.

Emily said she was able to check Erica’s messages to see if she had planned to meet up with someone but didn’t find anything. Her family is very concerned for her safety.

Erica's FB, listed job at Weis Market etc.

Somebody Erica works with? A customer she interacts with?

Somebody in that apartment building or visiting? Any of the above Erica would consider a friend!

Please let them find her quickly. This family has to be frantic.

Very worrisome... She has been missing for 5 days now and without her meds, very vulnerable. Has there been any news on cell phone last location pings or records? Even though she is legally an adult, I would think it wouldn't be to hard to get a warrant for cell phone records, considering the situation.

A thought. Could this have to do with her diabetes/insulin? Confusion. Sweating. Rapid heart beating? She left without a coat. Maybe cellphone already in hand?

Just reaching. Hoping she will be OK.

Yes, thinking this maybe. I wonder where she would think to go? There's a pharmacy nearby her apartment, some local businesses etc. Surveillance at any of these places? Just throwing out ideas. I really hope she's somewhere safe.

The Susquehanna River at the end of the street in one direction and the Fishing Creek in at the other gives me a lot of concern. The creek is only a few blocks of picturesque walk north and the bridge over it has very low barriers. There is a park on the other side and some walking trails along.

The walk to the river is longer and partly industrial/commercial so not something I'd expect her to do for fun unless she was purposely going out for food or to the river park. There should be CCTV along that route that can confirm whether or not she went that way.
The river walk is very pretty once you're down there, though an accidental fall seems impossible.upload_2020-12-9_23-53-20.png

Here are what the routes look like to her workplace. I don't think anything happened to her en route to work though. I have a feeling she disappeared Saturday (or possibly Friday night, I wish we knew more about how that phone call or text went and if it was normal)
