(Sigh)

This economy, and Covid is taking families. Entire families. Maybe not the case here, but this is a nice area. Expensive real estate. Not that this should matter either, but.........

New details revealed after family found dead in West Whiteland Township, Pa.

“Many in the quiet neighborhood said the family mainly kept to themselves. One neighbor did note, however, that in the last few days the husband seemed distant and not quite himself.

Family members said they did not always get a sense of transparency from Kulkarni.”

How devastating for their surviving family members to realize in retrospect that the father’s secretiveness allowed him to hide whatever mental health issues or financial/familial stressors that might have contributed to him committing this terrible act.

What a beautiful family.

From realanastasia's link the dad worked for the same company for ten years. At some point mom worked at Penn. Both boys at a very good school. Why?

Checking Linkedn Mr. Kullani worked in this area including Jersey since 2003. The only other place he lived at least in the US was Michigan.

Poor police are devastated along with family.

Wow. Also from your link @realanastasia the father/husband asked his brother in law for a loan in December. Neighbors mentioned he took daily walks to break up Covid monotony. Usually friendly this man became distant.

How devastating.

@airportwoman it may very well have been. They don't appear to be Muslim. I think it's maybe 3% Christian in India. If this beautiful family are Hindu just buying a gun is unbelievable to me. Murder, suicide (atmahatya) soul murder. Makes me want to cry.

So many people of all classes, races, religions are doing the unthinkable during this quarantine. We are all souls. Om Shanti.

This is unbelievably sad. The loan seems like a major clue, perhaps he his lost his job but didn't want to tell his family and was ashamed if his wife was the only one employed? Of course the pandemic has also put so many relationships to the test. Regardless, nothing can excuse taking his sons and wife with him and the sorrow that will fall upon both families.
