PA - Harrowing Attempted Abduction Caught On Tape

  • #21
When I read about abductions or attempted abductions, it is very common to see people point fingers at the parents. I think this must be humane nature to do so.

I don't really care to get into the what would I have done as a parent as far as supervision goes.

The reason why is because it takes away placing the blame from where it needs to be placed and that is with the perp.

Also, these perps are so brazen that they will grab a child from their own yard or the school, or even out of the home. They will find a way and it only takes a few seconds. A parent can't keep their eyes on a child 24/7.

I am interested in knowing what the maximum prison time is for this crime. People that commit these crimes will re-offend again. IMO, it wasn't his first offense and something should have been done prior to this. This is the sad part about it. Our laws are not tough enough and so many do not report. We have to do more to keep people like this off the streets.

He is a monster who should never be allowed to walk the streets again.

Oh he will for sure be out on the streets again. Considering child molesters usually get less than 10 years (and then reduced anyways), I bet he'd be out in a couple years. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Hopefully a kidnapping charge will keep him for a little longer. The one saving grace in this case is he's afraid to be on the street. Notice he was saying he couldn't walk the streets or breathe? Where he lives the neighbors (a mob) beat a guy who had raped a little girl going to school. They'd had surveillance and showed him on the news and the neighbors got him first.

Meanwhile that poor little girl and her brother are probably still so freaked out. Bless their little selves and may they find peace and feel secure soon.
