A 1-year-old Erie girl is in a Pittsburgh hospital undergoing treatment and police were questioning the girl's mother and another person Thursday after the child was brought to Saint Vincent Hospital with a dangerously high blood-alcohol content Wednesday afternoon.

As Bachmaier explained, a male friend was babysitting, while she was at her second shift job.

When she got home, she fed Nevaeh a bottle with formula, milk, and what she thought was water.

It turned out though, that bottle of water was filled with vodka.

An Erie woman accused of endangering her young daughter by making the child a bottle with alcohol that was in a water bottle in her refrigerator was sentenced Monday to serve two years of probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor endangerment charge in the case...

[The baby] remains in foster care, and Bachmaier has unsupervised visits, officials said in court Monday...

[The male friend] also testified that on the morning of May 14, after Bachmaier told him that her daughter had fallen and hit her head on the coffee table, he and Bachmaier went outside and smoked marijuana before she called Ask-a-Nurse.
