Many thanks CCJD! I will quote the part relevant to John Stegall's case:

Oil City police are continuing their investigations into the disappearances of two city residents in recent weeks.

Daniel Kulling, 34, was last seen leaving a Siverly residence on Dec. 23, and John Stegall, 61, hasn't been seen since he left his Plummer Street home on Nov. 27

.

Meanwhile, Stegall, 61, was last seen leaving his home at 228 Plummer around 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 27, police said.

Stegall's wife, Peggy, told the newspaper on Tuesday that she hasn't heard anything in a while and that her husband is still missing.

Stegall is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has gray hair.

Police said at the time that Stegall was believed to have left his home on foot and traveled to an unknown location.
Anyone with information on either Kulling or Stegall is asked to call Oil City police at 678-3080.

John has been found deceased.

An Oil City man who had been reported missing in November 2017 was found dead Monday.

John Stegall, 64, was reported missing Nov. 27, 2017, after having last been seen at his home at 228 Plummer St.

At the time of his disappearance, it was believed Stegall left his home on foot and traveled in an unknown direction.
Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh said Tuesday she has ruled Stegall’s death an apparent suicide that “probably” took place around the time of his disappearance.

Rugh did not say where Stegall’s body was found, and Oil City police Chief Dave Ragon couldn’t be reached for comment.
