PA PA - Josh Klingensmith, adult, Jefferson Hills, 26 Jul 2024 *endangered, left home w/o wallet and cell phone*

The JHPD is asking for the community’s assistance in locating resident Josh Klingensmith.

Klingensmith left his residence on Lewis Run Road sometime between 11:00p and 5:00a this morning and left behind his wallet and cellular phone. Klingensmith was last seen wearing a blue flannel jacket and gray sweatpants. Klingensmith is considered endangered and has been entered as a missing person. If seen please contact 911 immediately.

He has a very kind looking face, I hope he's found soon but leaving without phone and wallet does not bode well for a happy outcome. Judging by his t-shirt, he's got pretty good taste in music IMO.

So many cases here like this one on WS don't gain traction. This guy reminds me of a Canadian friend from my early 20s who was a fantastic guy. A bit rough around the edges but really sound. We lost contact with me living in the UK and Croatia and when i tried to get back in touch recently I found out that sadly he'd died. Hopefully Joshua has a good group of friends who have his back.

I can't ever understand why trailing dogs aren't brought in almost immediately on so many of these cases. If anything, a direction of travel can at least be established.

Serious question: If the authorities aren’t exactly sure what time he left or what direction he went, how are they exactly sure of what he was wearing? Seems like a clue to me.

Im guessing thats what he had on the night before. Did he have any mental illness going on? Also, was he despondent?

that's what his wife last saw him wearing when she went to bed the night before
