Man wanted for series of sex assaults in Philadelphia

Police said in each case, the suspect came up behind the women and groped them.

'PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted five women over the past two weeks'.

''On Monday afternoon, Captain Margo Alleyne-Parker, the commanding officer of the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit, described the five assaults that are now under investigation.
"Very brazen individual - somebody we would definitely like to get off the streets," she explained.
Police released images of the wanted suspect.''

''According to Philadelphia police, the first sexual assault was reported on July 18 at 6:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of Spruce Street in Center City. Police say the suspect said "good morning, beautiful" to the victim, who was walking her dog at the time, before he sexually assaulted her.''

Police believe the same man is responsible for all five assaults, based on the description and how close the alleged assaults happened to each other.
