Melissa Whaley, 52, was last seen on foot leaving a residence in the 22500 block of Berry Knolls Dr. in Cambridge Township around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to state police.

Whaley is 5'6" tall and 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a large green, Army-style jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes, troopers said.

State Police are asking anyone in the area to check their security and trail cameras for a woman matching the description.

According to PSP Meadville, 52-year-old Melissa Whaley, who went missing on Nov. 30, has been found dead.

Her body was discovered by volunteer search and rescue crews.

Whaley was last seen leaving a residence on Berry Knolls Drive in Cambridge Township, Crawford County.

PSP said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the investigation, although police had previously indicated Whaley was possibly in danger.
