Mother accused of helping boyfriend make child porn of her 3-year-old daughter

Kayla Parker, 26, was arrested in Dayton, Ohio, on suspicion of sexual abuse and exploitation of children, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent assault before being extradited back to her home state to face the charges.

According to a press release issued Tuesday by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, Parker lived with an ex-boyfriend, David Carbonaro of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania about four years ago.
After discovering "hundreds of images and several video files of a (3-year-old) girl in various stages of undress" in Carbonaro's possession, Carbonaro identified Parker's daughter as the victim.

"Parker told investigators that, on numerous occasions during the time she lived with Carbonaro, she undressed the victim and then escorted (her) to a bedroom, shut the door and left her alone with Carbonaro," the release also stated.

At least one file recovered by investigators depicted an adult female’s hand reaching inside the victim’s underwear.

Carbonaro was arrested in July and is currently awaiting trial in Delaware County for the possession, production and distribution of child pornography.

Parker's bail was set Monday at 10 percent of $1 million. A preliminary hearing is set for later this month.

I would think the child will be examined for physically sexual abuse also.
