Woman accused of concealing baby’s death to stand trial
Shannon Jones, a mother from Lancaster County, will stand trial in county court after waiving her preliminary hearing on charges related to a baby's remains found buried in her backyard.

Investigators say Shannon Jones, 50, and her daughter concealed the death of the child. Police said the remains were discovered in the Jones' backyard in East Donegal Township in March.
Jones also faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly providing abortion pills to her teenage daughter.
Police said Sydney, Jones' daughter, is being charged as a juvenile since she was under 18 when this happened.
