Ballistics test leads to suspect in December slaying in East Hills

Isaiah James Booker, 23, of Sarah Street, is charged with homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and illegally possessing a firearm in connection with the death of Myanne Redman, 25, with whom he had a child.

Investigators, meanwhile, found a posting on Mr. Booker’s Facebook page — time-stamped Feb. 12 — that included a cell phone recording of someone firing three gunshots and running off. Police then learned that Mr. Booker had been arrested that day in McKees Rocks and had been in possession of a .38-caliber revolver.

Detectives suspected that the gun may have been the same one used to kill Ms. Redman. A ballistics test showed that was the case, police said.
