The ANNA Shelter's Animal Cruelty Division is investigating the shooting of nine dogs in Crawford County.

The owners were out of town and a friend was watching the dogs. I wonder if the owners live in town or rural? Wish I could find more information like were the dogs found outside, were they shot in the house. Was there a break in and something inside someone really, really wanted.

I love the German Shepherd, however I always have a house full of unwanted dogs, or I should say dogs in need of a home. None are GS. I'm really having a hard time hearing about this, I just had to put one of my fur babies down, 4-5 pound baby that was horrifically attacked right in front of me by a large pit bull that came in our yard.

So sad for these dogs, I hope justice is quick.
