A woman’s body was found in Stowe late Friday by crews searching for a missing adult female, according to Allegheny County Police.

The family says they don’t suspect foul play and believe she fell down the hill.

“We would love to know exactly what happened to her and I’m sure eventually police will find out exactly what happened,” Pompeo said. “She was a very nice lady, very friendly, and we are going to miss her.”

County homicide detectives are investigating the death. At this time, the county’s medical examiner has not released the cause of death.
