Shot and murdered his own cousin. Then got to spend his 50th birthday in jail.

What could have prompted that violence?

UPDATE: Union City man charged with homicide for allegedly shooting cousin

According to the criminal complaint filed Wednesday by state police, "with malice, premeditation and specific intent to kill, he (Carnrike) shot and killed Michael Gregg Thieme."

Schultz confirmed Carnrike contacted police following the alleged shooting at the home.

Asked whether Carnrike and Thieme knew each other, Schultz said the two men were cousins.

Either Erie news or Corry news. Since I can't link until I'm on my laptop for now on I'll immediately put where I read it. It was written just like that. He had his 50th in jail.

Thanks Filly. When I first read the post there was nothing about family. Just wondered where the extra info came from.

Paul deserves to be in jail for what he did. He is claiming self defense but all the wounds on Mike are defensive not offensive. Paul himself didn't have any noticeable marks on his person. If Mike attacked Paul there would definitely be marks all over him. Until all the reports come out we won't know for sure what happened but based on the scene and the autopsy. Paul committed cold blood murder for reasons he only knows.
