"Authorities are searching for two Philadelphia men who encouraged their dogs to brutally savage a cat named Buddy — shouting “Get him” and “Good boy” as the heinous attack unfolded.

The evil attack was captured on a surveillance camera outside a family’s home in Frankford on Tuesday, the Pennsylvania SPCA said.

The two men could be seen walking by the home with the dogs, which were on leashes, when they suddenly spotted Buddy sitting on the porch."

From what I have observed on some SM sites, it seems as though Buddy the cat has thankfully survived the initial surgeries and repairs in the vet hospital. He also has quite the following and fan club. He is still in pretty rough shape, but hanging on. Pictures are out there on the web of him...
The two clowns who did this....their pictures are out too.

These two young boys/men? I am Not so confident. They did turn themselves in...that is a start...

From the above article:

"Both of the suspects have been taken into custody and are pending a custodial determination hearing, the SPCA said.

The dogs related to this incident have also been taken into the custody of the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The current charges filed include felony animal fighting, felony aggravated animal cruelty and a conspiracy charge, according to the SPCA."

Serious charges. And custody questions/issues also.

I've edited the thread title to include Buddy's name to give his case a bit more exposure. I hope Buddy fully recovers and has many more of his 9 lives yet to live.
