Additional Personal Items: She had a tiger-colored barrette in her hair. With the body was a blue Eastpack backpack that had a blue bandanna tied to the strap.

Circumstances of Discovery
The unidentified female was recovered from the Schuylkill River near South Street in southwestern Philadelphia on January 12, 2000. She was fully clad, had brown wavy hair which was starting to go gray, and did not appear to have any tattoos or scars. However, severe scoliosis was noted.

It is believed that she may have been deceased for a few weeks, no longer than the winter months of 1999. The cause of death was observed to be drowning. It is not known if she died by accident or if it was deliberate homicide. Numerous attempts were made to attain an identity. Fingerprints were processed, producing no record. A complete dental analysis was also performed to no avail. Missing person inquires to date have produced no viable leads.
