Circumstances of Disappearance
Robert Allison was last seen leaving Tri-River Fleeting in Bethel Park near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He left work where he worked on a river boat and was headed for a bar in the west end of Pittsburgh. All of this belongings were found on the boat and he has not been seen since.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop B, Washington, Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit, continue their search for Robert Elmer Allison.

Robert Elmer Allison lived with his mother in Franklin Township, Greene County, PA.
On December 21, 1994, his father took him to work at Tri-River Fleeting and Harbor located at 5308 Park Avenue, Bethel Park.

On December 22, 1994, Robert Allison worked from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. At some point after that, he told his boss he was going to get cigarettes. Robert left the boat he was working on and was last seen on foot near Patraglia’s Junkyard in the West End of Pittsburgh.

At the time of his disappearance he was 42 years old, height: 5’9”, weight: 170 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses.

All of Allison's possessions, including his clothes, money, cigarettes and television set, were found on the boat. His estranged wife stated he would never have gone anywhere without his cigarettes. He also left behind a baby daughter. His case remains unsolved.

His family reported him missing on 01/25/95. On 11/05/95, Missing Person Flier #26-95 was published and distributed to State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. There have been no recent leads in this case.
