Pre-trial conference scheduled for Michael Covington on September 13th. He has pleaded not guilty.

Cheeseboro has been "awaiting sentencing" for over a year now. Numerous hearings have been continued.

Next sentencing hearing is set for October 11, 2013. Exactly a year since his first sentencing hearing.

Is it possible the bolded phrase means that this perp's sentence will depend,
at least in part, on his cooperation and testimony in the co-perp's trial?

Yes, that makes sense. This could take a while, I guess.

Michael Covington, the shooter, pleaded guilty and got 35 to 70 years in state prison.

The other three received terms ranging up to 15 years.

Case closed.
