Missing Persons Cases Network

Chilson told her roommate she was going for a motorcycle ride but didn’t say with whom.

Authorities are searching for a local woman who went missing nearly three weeks ago.

Salina Chilson, 38, of Emlenton, was last seen on July 3 around 9:00 a.m. when she told her roommate that she was going on a motorcycle ride.

Chilson walked to downtown Emlenton that morning to meet the person she was going with and never returned, according to her roommate.

She didn’t specify who she was meeting.

Chilson is approximately 5’1″ and weighs 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck that says “Out to Lunch” and a Pisces symbol on her right wrist.

Anyone with information on Chilson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Emlenton Police at 724-867-0911.

She has multiple DUI convictions. Common Pleas Docket Sheet Did she lose her driving privileges and have to rely on others for transportation? I'm hoping she just met a new boyfriend and didn't let the roomate know she would be gone, but an accident or foul play is always a consideration.

Police ID, arrest suspect in death of Venango County woman

FRANKLIN, Venango County — A Venango County man has been detained by authorities in Missouri in the suspicious death of a woman discovered at the man’s home in Polk Borough.

State Police at the Franklin station charged Clayton J. Hindman, 48, on Thursday with aggravated assault, possession of a crime instrument with intent, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person after police found a badly decomposed body in Hindman’s Polk home. Police said in a criminal complaint that they believe the dead woman is Salina Poppy Chilson, a 38-year-old Parker resident who was reported missing on July 3.

According to this, the suspect’s daughter requested a welfare check on him and when troopers went to his place, a foul odor was detected. The landlord let them in.

I ask because the article states LE noticed his motorcycle parked at his home when they arrived for the welfare check.
