Served in 16 parishes over 25 years. Worked as therapist at Lourdesmont, a facility for troubled teenage boys and girls, in 1983. Assigned as Asst. Pastor at Prince of Peace Parish in Old Forge 7/13 after return from 8 month leave of absence (his 4th since ordination). Arrested 9/19/13 after being found in car on local college campus having sex with 15 yr old boy he met on the Internet. Being held on $50K bail. Said boy told him he was 18. Bishop has removed his privileges and placed him on leave.

Another thing that pisses me off about this... Catholic priests don't just sign up and are sent a certificate and boom! They're a priest now. IIRC they have to have at least about 6 yrs of college, at least in the US. So somewhere along the way this guy has taken some kind of psych, sociology, something, where he would have learned that teens involved in the sex trade are some of the most vulnerable in society. It's not adults deciding to engage in this activity. These teens are already vulnerable, many have already been victimized, and he KNEW IT... And went ahead anyway. And victimized again.

Oh he knew alright. He was assigned as the primary therapist at this place for troubled kids.

On an aside you do get an excellent education in the Priesthood. It's not unheard of that guys go in just for the schooling and then split before they are ordained.

This guy though is a real piece of work.

I'm concerned about these kids on CL. That's crazy dangerous. Just meeting some random person and getting in their car for sex. Somehow seems scarrier than the streets.
