Passing the buck--something needs to be done

ABC News is going to cover pedophile teachers being shuffled from school to school right now.

Maybe a good new type of expose show - like the Datelines that show pedophiles coming to houses where they expect a vulnerable youngster, how about some nice interviews of either the principals who just transfered the teacher, or of the teacher himself in his new school.

They said out of the teachers in New York found to be abusing students--(they didn't say sexually, at least that I heard)--only 1% lost their licenses to teach. 16% went on to teach elsewhere, and 40% left the area.

...JBR was pretty old to be in kindergarten; my son was half way through first grade at her age....
School districts generally have a cut-off date as to when a child turns five and can be enrolled in kindergarten. Back in my day it was at the end of September. Nowadays, some districts have some date in July as their cut-off date. So it's possible that this is what happened in JonBenet's case.

The stench of corruption is repugnant! There must be accountability, and laws must be changed! Apparently, the FOIA isn't enough! Not all of LE are bad, but the one's who are, mocks the system!
We are not the only family to have suffered injustice from LE, and unfortunately will not be the last, but I still have faith God will prevail, and ultimately, is the eternal judge!
It has become a quest of mine to not only find the truth, and justice for my brother, but also for the loved ones left behind, who have the Constitutional Right to know!
Public Records are just that, and open to all! Even more so, to the "Next of Kin."
How many more lives must be lost, and go unheard? Where is their voice? What has become of our rights?!
With God's help, I will see my brother's murderer caught and convicted, and have legislation passed in his honor for ALL who have suffered.....
Their lives had meaning, and deserves respect, and resolution!

With God's help, I will soon be releasing a petition for the laws to be changed, and as "We, the PEOPLE," are entitled to that, and to those who are deceased, the respect and attention they are due!
As was given the idea by a beautiful soul here on this site. It will be called Jack's Law, for FOIA to mean just that, and information released that current guidelines prohibits, which is censorship!

Wonderful posts here. Buzzml outstanding and intensive work for this thread, thank you.

I worked for a personnel director for a very large corporate group for quite some time. Under law they were not allowed to voluntarily give bad references about an ex employee. The hiring personnel director could 'only' ask of the ex personnel director, "Would you hire this employee again?" When getting an answer of 'No', the matter legally was not allowed, during my working years which ended professionally in 1998, to be discussed further.

I suspect Karr leaving a prestigious school, that the magic question never came up.

I am wondering how Karr managed to finance his trips? Is his family wealthy? Buzzml?

Wonder what Police Chief Beckner thinks about our NEW confessor, note, Mary Lacy did not call him front and center in her Pressed conference.
