Do you happen to mean Quitman, GA? It was a 3 hour and 45 minute drive to where he was found and the CSX railroad goes through Quitman. I do not think there is a place called Whitman, GA. Try calling this number it was on his NamUS page: (850) 332-7300

I didn’t mean anything. I just used the location from NamUs and DoeNetwork. Maybe the “G” in GA is a typo, and it's Whitman, MA? MOO JMO

Possibly but Pappy was found in Pensacola and the phone number on NamUS is for District 1 Medical Examiner right there in the Florida Panhandle. Whitman, MA is 1.2k miles away from where Pappy was found while Quitman, GA is only 250 miles and is a stop for CSX tracks.
