NEW YORK - Peter Benchley, whose novel "Jaws" made millions think twice about stepping into the water even as the author himself became an advocate for the conservation of sharks, has died at age 65, his widow said Sunday.

I'm sorry to hear that. 65 seems so young now. It seems a lot of folks who made a mark that we'll never forget are passing away.

Off topic Dark Knight, but I'm glad you have the reminder on your posts to go and click for the charities. It always reminds me . I try not to miss a day. It's such an easy way to donate to good causes and it's free!
