Pharmacist sentenced after using anesthetic agents to kill his dog (Maryland)

I'm wondering if the guy somehow wanted to be caught, since he threw the vials and syringes in a NEIGHBOR'S trash can. He stole succinylcholine and rocuronium, both powerful paralytic agents used during general anesthesia, to "euthanize" his dog. Sorry, but this was no good death; the poor creature suffocated, probably while fully conscious.
