The journos who went to the house and reported about the dogs were told by police 4 dead dogs were removed from the property.

Then interviewing the neighbours, the neighbours said up to 11 or so.

That's how the story escalated.

I wonder if the neighbour had seen that number of dogs at the property. Perhaps they were breeding dogs, possibly even banned breeds.

As a local to this area, I am following this closely. I hope to God they find this poor girl alive, but from all accounts, it's not looking good. There are several key timeline events that are confirmed by the police but not elaborated on (possibly for good measure) that could really add some weight to the investigation if more details were known.

1. A call to the boyfriend in WA was made prior to the planned departure.- if this were indeed true it would be one of the last conversations before the disappearance. If something was not quite right-say, an argument had ensued, surely the boyfriend would have been informed. No doubt the investigators have probed the context of this call.

2. Both the house and vehicle have been declared crime scenes.- A crime involving the missing girl occured at the house, this is a fact according to the QPS media release. If an argument between PB and the driver was witnessed-as reported-, whatever occured in the house did not result in PB's disappearance directly UNLESS PB either returned to the house after the argument, or, the argument (or the ride to the airport) never happened. If the argument did happen, something occured in that vehicle that resulted in a return to the home. The other scenario is that she never entered that vehicle until after a crime had already occured in the house. I really hope this is not the case...

3. Removal of dead dogs.- this one is very morbid and purely speculation on my behalf. If a person with a history of firearm possession wanted to create a valid coverup for gunshot noises that were possibly heard by neighbors, what reason could they use? 'oh that was just me shooting my noisy dogs'. Very coincidental that it occurred when it did. Conjecture on my behalf but I can't think of any other reason why.

I post this in the hope that my observations can assist others in deciphering this tragic, ongoing mystery. Please feel free to elaborate on this and correct me if I am wrong in my analysis. Let's all pray, wish and hope for a positive outcome for young Phoebe.

Maybe both KB and JW didnt go straight home to Gin Gin but stayed the night in Bundy.
Is there is an account of someone seeing them on the morning of the 16 May ????
If so then maybe that is why when the police turned up to their house they were no where to be seen.
Trying to get my head around the abandoned house and KB car there when the police show up.

There's obviously a lot going on behind the scenes and police are letting the public know the bare minimum. It's hard to get a grip on the actual time line of events because they seem to be inaccurately published, and often changing.

What is heartbreaking though, is that a girl seems to have been let down by her family situation, and despite it all, seemed to have been trying to rise above it and not fall into a downward spiral. She seemed to still have hope, a desire to better her situation. All the photos published of her, and there are many, seem to show her happy and hopeful, unlike many in her situation who appear to have their sadness written all over their faces and in their eyes. For 17, she seems to have dealt with a lot more than many adults twice her age, but still had hope. I fear that hope has been taken from her, along with her life and future.

Yes, looking through her TT reposts she seems like she was a good, smart kid - despite her circumstances. It appears she smoked (weed) to cope with trauma but was conflicted about her use, was against hard drugs, was independant and valued hard work over easy gains, and believed in God and Jesus. She yearned for starting a new life. If you look through her reposts you will see what I am talking about.

I guess I shouldn't use "was" as she could still be alive.

Yes. I'm sure many of us feel the same as I do....wanting to have snatched her up and taken her to safety, a place of well being, and a promising future. To half a world away even, though at one time I lived only less than 300 miles away....when I was younger than her age.

This scenario seems like they were taking advantage of her--maybe in many ways, I hate to speculate. They certainly do not seem like the type of adults who simply offered a room/stability to a struggling young person to help them get on their feet.

I wondered if the Police offered a substantial monetary reward would the people who may be responsible for Pheobe missing, perhaps report the other one? They haven’t been together too long to have formed a concrete bond.

Perhaps it is too late now, I think the Police are very close to solving this. IMO

Agreed. And as I am now, I look at those two and the squalor of their property, and their bad reputation and think, "What the hell was she doing there?"

But I forget, at around her age I hung out with a gross, very bad older couple because it helped me escape my home life. That was not a good choice on my part, but I was very naive. So if I think about it, I do understand.

I don't know about her family life for sure, but her TT reposts and posts don't paint a pretty picture.

Never met her mum, but did meet her step dad when I bought some livestock off him a year or so ago. Seemed like a really nice guy, definitely didn't seem like a druggie, and he really seemed to care about the animals. Just a nice country bloke.

It can be spelled both ways, but you are right. Her name is spelled PhEObe.
I checked, there are lots of Phoebes around too....Phoebe Cates, Phoebe Tomkins eg (actresses) and Phoebe Gates ( Bill's daughter)
