The girl was alive at 8.30 a.m. when she was talking to the bf by phone.
She was soon to board the plane.

It sounds like she knew too much about the couple, and when it came time to go and she was serious they had a screaming match the night b4. She rang her boyfriend the following morning . But the more she was demand to go they obviously wouldn’t give her a lift so she may have organised one with that other woman. But no one has confirmed that.

They could let her go with whatever she had on them and they knew she was not coming back.
By all accounts they were a very dangerous and odd bunch off people even to have access to the weapons thus far disclosed , and the company they kept, the condition of the house.
The sheer number of dogs and then to have multiple deceased. They seem quite off.

She may have applied for a job with dogs for all we know then they wouldn’t pay her “ claiming we pay your accommodation and food “ who knows . So on job seeker the poor kid hence it taking her so long to save up for a ticket . ( who knows)

It seems odd the police have no one in custody.

Watch this spot I guess but nothing new is coming out.

And with the family it’s not unusual for teenagers to go through a phase where they have a breakdown in the relationship for a few years. Particularly after Covid and everything that went on , a lot changed with family dynamics.

So they would be devastated.

The people she was living with are the big red flag and the fact they access to the particular guns and items they did. Very shady and obviously are connected to a certain element of society to be able purchase items . And even carry them around.

One question when exactly was the last physical sighting of her.

No the one in the that’s heresy still.
But a physical confirmation.

For a domestic flight in Aus, boarding usually closes 30-45 mins before flight departure. She was only flying to Brisbane (which is actually only a 3-4 hr drive from Bundy, and only 1 hr flight).

I also wondered… has the call with the bf been verified? I’m sure they’ve checked her phone records, but could it have been someone else making the call to the bf from her phone. Probably not, but just a thought.

I wonder how much money Pheobe had saved for her trip to WA and how much she withdrew for the trip.
In South Australia we have seen people murdered for the meager amount of their Social Security payment.

I am wondering if it was felt that Pheobe owed money for houseshare rent/utilities, and that was demanded from her.

What is the income source for the involved people?

If she was any where near the airport with the amount of cameras there even if the car was it would have been snapped, there would be a picture of her . From everything that’s been disclosed thus far, I don’t think she ever got to the airport.

surely the bf would have contacted LE immediately, no?

I understood from the text messages with her friend
PB only wanted to visit bf for 10 days.

Or was her plan to go somewhere else?

The police have said nothing about POI’s including whether the couple are or are not. It was early stages and questioning about a disappearance initially. I think they will be careful and keeping a very close monitor on everyone. They need all the evidence they can get .

Is TB a distant relative? Or just an acquaintance/former coworker of Pheobe's mother?

With their images posted above so close to one another, some of the coloring and features look as though they could be related, and I recall earlier articles saying Pheobe was not living with "immediate" family.....so wondering if TB is a cousin or something along those lines?

Just curious and trying to better understand this dynamic and how she ended up living there since it doesn't seem to have been an arrangement in place very long.

Also am perplexed as her text messages with her friend about the trip to me read as fairly ordinary stuff. Yes, she doesn't seem happy about her living arrangements, but there isn't a huge red flag either. Of course it is possible there were other conversations where more was shared, or maybe she did not share anything with this friend if there was something really bad and ongoing (aside from the squalor and what I think we can fairly assume not the best conditions.) On the surface, it seems like pretty ordinary teenagers chatting, IMO. It isn't alarming.

She's a 17 yr old kid, never off her phone one would image, like all kids of that age. The phone would have been glued to her hand.

She would have been texting / talking to her BF constantly leading up to that flight one would imagine.

If she caught the 9.30 flight leaving Bundaberg to Brisbane, then she would have needed to be at the airport by 8.30


Her phone PINGED / was used / switched off / called her bf at 8.30

I'm really surprised
as the girl aged 17 is still a MINOR and under parents' care.
Well,
at least according to Law in my country.

Parents are responsible for kids till they turn 18.
It's the Law.

The links between her work and PB mother being her boss have been posted previously.
When TB was arrested for firearm charges she was sacked. She worked there until at least early last year.

So they may have been strapped for cash ... all of them. With the expectation that Pheobe would be paying her share.

I am trying to see why they would be living together in the first place (sharing expenses probably), and what happened when one of them booked and paid for an 'expensive' flight across the country, then took the rest of their own living allowance and left ... possibly with cash in her pocket.
