Great work! That narrows it down to Luka, or 5 million other people with a plain gold ring on their middle finger.

Seriously though, if this murder was a frame up, then the killer would certainly be sure to wear a similar ring. If it wasn't a frame up, Luka would have to be a complete idiot to be wearing that ring to implicate himself, while at the same time not revealing his face, while at the same time doing the murder in his own apartment. :twocents:

Please use some common sense.

Umm, respectfully Herc (WSrs do have a lot of common sense, and generally we don't dish out a whole buncha sarcaso at other posters), what make you think that LRM has been framed?

There are lots of pics of LRM without the ring and without the crucifix.

You sound as if you know LRM. If that is the case, we would ask that you be verified as an insider with Admin. If you don't know LRM, then I guess you're in the same pot as the rest of us.

Didn't know where else to post this inquiry, but I was looking through the archived links of the General Discussion threads (#1-10 ) at Luka Rocco Magnotta General Discussion Threads - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community and #4 and #7 are missing. Naturally, it was #4 I was looking to revisit as that was the day he was caught and there were some links inside there I was looking to research. Does anyone know if they're located somewhere else, or are they lost or ....?? There's a crucial gap in time missing between the evening of June 3rd and the morning of June 4th. I tried messaging a mod last week but never heard back. Any help appreciated.

Some pictures taken of Luka by the man he was staying with in Germany who has been giving evidence, either taken on the morning of his arrest (same shirt), or maybe he wore it 2 days in a row lol.

I found it. Its from a news article in german.
This media source is highly questionable though, most of what they write are sensationalist speculations...

Basically, the article says that LM stayed with a carer for the elderly (50 years old), when he was in Berlin. He stayed at his place in Neukölln for 4 days. They met via a online housing agency. In the interview, the man says that LM slept in the same bed as him and that he had no idea that this guy was a killer. LM wore a wig, when he first came to the man's place. The man could only speak german, so they had problems communicating.
LM didnt want to go outside much, he stayed inside most of the time. That seemed a bit strange to the man, who thought LM was a tourist. On the 4th day, the man sent him to a internet cafe, because he didnt want to leave him at his home alone. Only then he saw in a newspaper that LM was wanted for murder and called the police.

That ring is just a plain band.. identical to rings worn by hundreds of millions of other people. I would estimate that over 90% of males wearing rings have rings that look just like that. Good going Sherlock!
