<modsnip - quoted post was removed (unapproved source)>I don't think he'll try to do anything to any other inmates. His original goal was to murder some young women while they slept. He's a coward; he would never try to attack a fully awake full grown man in prison. imo
I agree. I don’t think he’ll have a huge personality change like he’s found his people.

He'll still think he's the smartest one in the room, IMO he'll be content to isolate/segregate, where he can smugly be the smartest man in his head.

He'll probably adjust rather well. He'll ignore fellow inmates, think prison staff are his friends, and will take to the rules and routines, provided there are no crosswalks.

I don't know that it'll feel all that punitive to him, unfortunately. I don't think he values freedom, relationships, work, travel. Things he didn't value on the outside, I don't he'll develop an need for them on the inside.

He did so much damage that day... but all he can seem to muster is a 'meh'.

And that makes it even worse.

I think the thing we have to remember about SG is that 3 years ago they went through the worst thing anyone could go through. They've been surviving since then waiting for the trial. They had envisaged a path and that was getting them through. That path suddenly met an abrupt dead end and everything they were so focused on to survive was gone. SG is spiralling, they need time to grieve and heal now more than ever.

I dont agree with several of his statements, but I can't say I blame him. I do think the plea was the right thing for them too, even if they don't see it. This shock of the journey ending was going to happen at some point and that is what is charging his actions.

RSBM.

All of this is exactly how I feel too.

Reporter Kayna Whitworth mentions in her podcast DM attending the plea deal hearing. I have not heard this before.

Good catch about DM.
She's brave to be in the same room as him voluntarily. otoh I could see wanting to actually hear him plead guilty.

Well, after over two and half years of following this case, I am not sure if there will be any more evidentiary surprises. We ended up learning much, even with a gag order.

We will probably never understand why - never. My heart breaks enough; so, there is no way I will be able to listen to victim impact statements.

I do want to THANK all of you that have answered my questions and/or considered some of my speculations/opinions. Hope to see you and exchange thoughts and insights on other threads.

Take care, my friend. Hope to see you down the road.

Yes, staying SG is “showing who he really is” is unfair as none of us know who he really is. All we see of him is what he chooses to post publicly - a father who is suffering. A father who has lost a piece of himself. Grief is ugly and often times angry. How is one supposed to control themselves in this situation? MOO solely.

Please can someone explain!
I'm hoping this means information is coming soon!
The media is trying to get the gag order dropped prior to sentencing. They don't want to wait.

Interesting to me and maybe of interest to a few others on WS, Gray Hughes ran a quick Chat GPT - comparison between Eliot Rodger and BK.

At 3hrs (!) 40 mins at this link. ( The AI analysis was preceded by a few of the old Rodger vlogs/whines and sparked by a new article in the Mail from a psychologist writing about a shared theme)

Totally agree. I also want to add that although the plea deal is easier on the families as far as not having to go thru a trial and appeals, the plea deal does not give true justice. If I were a parent, I would want him to be killed and I wouldn't care how stressful it was for me.

Boy I remember hashing this out a while back. So many of us firmly believe Papa Rodger is a nickname BK created because he was mimicking Rliot Rodger.

Which leads me to think about what it would mean, is Bryan “ CF” Khoberger ?
In the grand scheme of things doesn’t mean anything because he’s going to prison for life but now that I see it this way I can’t unsee it. I don’t think it’s just a flourish. His .. he gets the final “word” , a little secret with himself - part of the dupers delight @ Megnut

Looking at the second signature that has the piece that looks like a little F makes me think...
F
C (middle initial)
K (beginning of his last name)

So only the vowel missing to make the word we see & I wonder if it's a small middle finger to "the system" & yet there's plausible deniability? MOO.

(And I wonder if he's ever done that previously other times when his signature was needed & he wanted to make a silent protest of sorts. It's a petty, juvenile thing to do & I could see him choosing to do so. Jmo.)

I have guessed that he is trying not to piss off the family, not that he was trying to leave EC out. JMOO

Maybe they have asked him to leave their son out of it?

Early on, I perceived his comment of they did not have to go upstairs as "blame". I was not sure, but I can imagine that there could be some animosity from various camps about how they were targeted. This seems a little natural when trying to make sense of scene. JMOO
BBM
That is my opinion also.

I'd like an eye-rolling emoji for "he would never cheat generous donors
as Latah County prosecutors cheated his family out of a trial."
He must think a "guilty" at trial is the final word. Approximately 18 appeals would be cycled before he got the DP.
The anti genealogy DNA defense attorneys of America are mounting many challenges in many courts, and there is a risk of a new trial without the DNA or any evidence that that came after it.
